Sorry Chris it seems that we all are dealing with the same thing, no matter what version we all have. I have sent out an e/mail asking for someone to get Brian Hartgent's e/mail. I would love to talk to him regarding this issue, seeing that he did the tutorial for Windows Messenger. Until then I think it will be a while before we solve this problem. Good luck.
