This problem started a week ago when I was anxious to copy an audiobook for
my listening pleasure for a short road trip. I did notice this chatter after
about 9 CDs had been converted, but I had no time to check it out. The
computer has been off for about 6 days and I'm back now to check out the
problem. The chatter is less than it was when I first returned to turn it
on, but does still occur. I have re booted a few times and did a disk scan
(not sure why, but but what the heck); so it is as I have said much less
than it was, but still does occur. You think this is a jaws problem not
because I was converting 10 audiobook CDs to mp3? What might I do to prevent
this happening again?
Thanks,
Cathie

have you tried unloading jaws and restarting it, sometimes that will
fix that kind of trouble. and , of course, a reboot can also help.
