That's interesting but since I never use stand by it's just something that
wouldn't occur to me, thank you.

We have verified the issues of failing to read certain things such as
system tray list of items when going into and out of standby/hibernate.
This is being addressed now. For the time being, you will have to shut
down and restart, rather than hibernate please.
Regards,
Eric

Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws nine's feedback so far

Hey all. Well for starters, jaws after returning from standby on a del
Windows xp home computer with two gigs of ram, will say "Preparing to
standby." It happens if you use the command in outlook express to read
how many messages you have, and also occurs on Internet Explorer seven
when going into the links list. I didn't go much farther with this yet.
Also there's no subject, to or ccc being read when you tab into the
message field to send a message in OE. There's also no selected item in
the system tray, again happening after returning from stand by. I'm
slightly used to that because of the video card I have conflicting with
jaws if I close my lid, its a radian express 1150. If this can be
reproduced I'd appreciate it, otherwise I just spent quite a bit of
money last night for the renewal agreement. Thanks for reading, Siobhan
