I have an HP, and the touchpad manual button is great. It's just a recessed button above the touch pad which is a toggle. When the touch pad is active, it is very easy to accidentally move your mouse cursor, scroll, or even accidentally click on something. Since the touch pad is in front of the keyboard on my laptop, it doesn't take much to accidentally do things I don't want to do. But pressing the button, the mouse pad is inactive and I can't screw things up. It has no effect on the JAWS cursor which still works fine. Then, if a sighted person needs to use the machine, a press of the button will reactivate the mouse pad.

Any information on the manual button with HP would be appreciated since I am looking in to buying an HP. God bless, Mark God loves you!
