Carlene, Don't feel stupid, ... may I welcome you to the pleasures of version eleven?
I had gotten it to work some time back with cds but found it a horrible experience and promptly down graded as far back as that version of Windows XP would allow. Unfortunately the one with the dvd player program in it is running off of Vista and it won't let me run a more accessible (civilized) older version. Best of luck, hope you get yours to co-operate with you. I would suggest to anyone wondering whether or not to try eleven that if you do not need to upgrade you Don't! Well, I feel really stupid because I can't duplicate what I did before. I saw it before, but can't bring it up now. You could always try Media 10 until you can get another program. It is more accessible. I can't seem to get anything to play directly from the CD. It just wants to ad it to my library.
