Hi everyone. I'm using JAWS 8, 0, 2173, 2. I've noticed that when I try to type in microsoft word, many of the keystrokes don't go through and get typed into the document. I thought for a while that it was me not tapping the keys hard enough, but it persisted even when I would press the keys more forcefully. I tried typing the same thing in wordpad, and the results were better. I need to do this work in Microsoft Word. I wonder if something is happening in word to trap some of my keystrokes. I suspect this because I tried to shut down my computer with Word running, and just before the computer shut down, I heard an error message saying something like "unknown function call to nnavigationQuickKeyTrapKeys". I don't know the function in ms word, but I know that the navigation quick key feature may be buggy here. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall jaws, and the same problem occurred, so perhaps it's not JAWS and word is corrupted. Perhaps word is corrupted in such a way that it messes with the navigation quick keys feature of the Word scripts. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do about this, please let me know. Thank you.
