Hi, John. I don't know about tutorials but one of my relatives set up microsoft word so I could use it to scan documents. I don't know how or what steps he did to set everything up but I could ask him if you'd like. I was using openbook on my old computer but for some weird reason it won't work with this one. Rosemarie
