Hello, I am using a Belkin USB Bluetooth adapter model f8t012 and after installing the software which I downloaded from the Belkin site I discovered that the first available com port of Bluetooth serial ports was com10. In order to use JAWS with a braille display I can only configure JAWS to use com1 through com8. Is there any way to adjust the first com port number for Bluetooth under windows XP so I can set the port number lower in order to accommodate JAWS? Or is there some change I can make in JAWS to allow it to handle higher port numbers?
I have verified that both JAWS 9 beta and JAWS 8 both have the com port 8 limitation.
