One thing that might help if while you are in MS Word, hit Insert and the number 1 on the numrow. That will put you in a help screen where every key combination you press will tell you what its function is. I know that in this mode, it will tell you that Control E centers the text. Pressing it twice quickly will give a little more detail I believe. It's cool to explore what all the different keystrokes you can think of will do. Then to get out of this help mode, you just hit Insert 1 again and you're back to normal.
You can do this in any window of any program to see what some different keystrokes can do. BTW, some of the things in MS Word you can do is Control E to center, Control U to underline, Control I for italics, Control L to left align, Control R to right align, and Control B to bold. Chris Feist - The one and only! -----Original Message----- On Behalf Of Bill Benson I am trying to edit using MS Word 2003, and am wondering if there is somewhere I can get a list of what key strokes do what functions? I keep forgetting, for example, how to center something. Thanks very much for a push in the right direction.
