Ok will do it that way while you all check it out as don't recall it ever doing that before version 9.429 or any of the version 9 betas as could do a say all insert 8 on the numpad and would say the stars.

We did some testing and learned that if you go into Forms Mode, while focused on a different edit field, and then tab into the password field and type, you can then arrow and hear star star star. It does fail to speak as you arrow in the password field if you entered forms mode directly in the password field. We are looking at this one.
