if its muted, here's what to do: 1: reboot the system and after you hear the windows start sound, wait about 40 seconds and then press windows key. 2: press the letter r for the run command 3: type in sndvol32.exe and press enter. 4: tab twice and press the spacebar. this should unmute all. if jaws is running, it should start talking. if this doesn't work, you may have a video intercept error on the screen. something to try before you do the above steps, try pressing windows key plus the letter u and see if the narrator starts talking.
