Interestingly enough I didn't realize this before. The thing is I so rarely use word to save documents myself, but instead to help me reformat text for future conversion to HTML using notepad. Eric did state that they weren't able to get this resolved for the current release I see. Still it is known to him and there for should be on the table for updates. He said it isn't a scripting issue I also see.
