Hi. I did briefly try Thunderbird on my XP laptop, and I wasn't impressed with how JAWS interacts with the programme, so I dumped it and used Eudora for a while before the fatal accident on my laptop. I do have Eudora installed on this new Vista laptop, however I haven't used it, so can't say how well it will work. I'm using Windows Mail for my e-mail for the time being, and so far I like it.
