Hi Tony,

Yes I'm using Glen for the PC voice. I have tried switching back to Reed
and also Rocco as you suggested and it didn't make any difference.

Hi Rick.
I noticed that the pitch of your Eloquence is a bit higher than the default.
Do you use Glenn for your PC cursor voice? I just switched to Glenn too,
and now I'm having the same thing happen. I don't have that happen with
Reed, and I am running Windows XP. Perhaps the issue is Glenn, and not
Eloquence itself. Why not try switching the voice to Reed. Glenn appears
to be nothing more than reed in a higher pitch. If you're using Reed and
have raised the pitch, try lowering it to the default pitch. Perhaps that
will solve the problem for you.

Yes it's current. I updated it a couple of weeks ago.

Have you tried upgrading your audio driver? I did that originally when I
got my Vista laptop to improve responsiveness, and it worked great. I
wonder if there is any connection between the Eloquence problems and the
drivers possibly being out-of-date?
