Hi list, I upgraded from Windows Messenger to Windows live Messenger 8.1. After doing this, I have apparently lost the typing sound that is made when someone is writing a message for you. The typing sound is enabled under verbosity settings. This is the case with both JFW 8 and 9, and I have a friend who is using JFW 7.1 and is experiencing the same problem. Does anyone know how to get the typing sound back?
