Hello, Recall that "registering" and "activating" JAWS refer to two separate procedures.
Your JAWS shipment came with the software installation CD, as well as an authorization CD. Think of the authorization CD as a "shortcut" to typing in your authorization code--that is, the code is available elsewhere on your package, in print and braille; the CD merely is a quick way of entering that code. If you have your authorization CD, or have a record of the code, no problem. Download and install JAWS from www.freedomscientific.com, and when asked to activate, select the Activate button, follow instructions as normal, and enter your 25-digit authorization code manually.
