Hi Marilyn, I wrote a post detailing how to shut off the autocomplete function of Windows for forms and passwords.
The same process goes for web addresses. I have pasted the instructions below. ***Original Message*** Hi Arup, If you go into your Internet Options in Internet Explorer 6, control+tab over to the content tab, then tab down to the button that says, "Personal Information Autocomplete...", and press the spacebar, a dialog box will open up. In that dialog box, you'll have three checkboxes. The first is for web addresses, the second is for forms, and the third is for passwords. If you don't want Windows to autocomplete forms and password boxes, make sure those last two are unchecked. Further down, you'll come to a couple of buttons. The first one is to clear forms, and the second one is to clear passwords. You can press both buttons to clear both library files with forms and password data. Once done, tab down to the ok button, then it will take you back to the Content page of the Internet Options, so all you have to do is press the ok button on that dialog box also. Hope this helps.
