I had this same problem with a laptop. I sent a detailed question to JAWS
Tech-Support, and I got back a very helpful answer.  The solution was very
complicated, and I could not have made the changes I needed to make without
assistance from a Techie.  

Try submitting a written question rather than simply talking to someone on
the phone.  Be sure to give an exact description of what type and model of
computer you are using and an exact description of the operating system.

I'm having with my video intercept manager.  It keeps asking for install
after I reboot my windows xp desktop.  I have i intell. I just had a new
driver installed, thinking that would solve the issue, since that is what
Freedom scientific told me to do.  It didn't help.  I'm running Jaws 8.
