I provided the below instructions to access the Motorola download of their cell phone upgrade software to a IE7/ Jaws 9 user and they were unable to get the check box enabled in step 8
Can somebody please verify these instruction for use with IE7? Thanks, Jonathan Process to get the Motorola software update package. (using jaws 71 and IE6) Go to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSelect.asp?cou 1. "C" to find the first combo box. This should be a carrier selection. 2. Hit space and alt-downarrow Then into Hit " space to go into forms mode and then hit alt-downarrow to expand the combo box. Find your carrier and hit enter. 3. Repeat step 1 & 2 to enter your phone type. 4. Hit tab to get to a image link Hit space to go to the next screen. 5. Hit C to find the combo box to enter month. (again use the alt-downarrow for your own sanity). 6. Enter the appropriate year. 7. Find the this page link "check warranty status" notice when you click on this nothing happens. So... route your jaws cursor to your virtual cursor (insert + , I believe) Then hit the left mouse button. You should now have a new web page loaded. 8. Hopefully you will find the text .. " Thank you, your device is in warranty. Please click here to continue. 9 find the LINK "here" and click on it 10. The check box should now be available ... YEAH Click "x" to find the check box and space to check it. 11. Find the graphical link just after the check box. (tab should help here.) And hit space on that to start the down load.
