Hello Rosemarie.

I assume you're running windows XP.  If you are you can do the following.

1.  Go to the start menu and the programs submenu, then navigate to your 
startup submenu.
2.  Once in the startup submenu, you can navigate to the JAWS 451 item, and 
then you need to press the applications key to activate a context menu.  It 
may not say that you have entered a context menu, but it will be there and 
you will be able to arrow through the items in it.
3.  One of the options in this menu will be delete, which will delete the 
shortcut from your startup submenu.  Press enter on it and confirm the 
deletion.

You should be all set.  If you're not using XP, this won't work.  Hope this
