I don't think this is a JAWS problem; rather it is the reality that in most
instances scanning software gives you an output that ignores the formatting
of the source document.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Columns, JAWS and imaging .

I have 9.0 and XP home.
I use "Text Cloner" on my scanner.
When scanning or reading material in columns, or even PDF on the web, JAWS
does not seem to pick up the columns, and reading a document can be
humorous if not impossible.
Is there anyway around this dilemma?

Thank you.

Rich
