Hi there, To disable this "consent security," go to Start, type "User Accounts" then press ENTER. Then press TAB to go to "Turn User Account Control on or off" link. Another "consent" dialog should appear. At this point, press Alt plus C to continue. Then you come to a new window. There should be a checkbox to enable UAC. Press SPACEBAR to uncheck this box. A dialog should pop up, telling you that your computer needs to be restarted. Press ENTER on either OK or Yes button. Then restart your computer. The "consenar" thing should go away. Here's why: Whenever this Consent dialog opens, any processes that is run after Windows starts is "knocked out" - that is, forced to stop. This includes JAWS. The exceptions are those which are run when Windows Login dialog is displayed. In order to remedy this, go to JAWS window, go to Options/Basics/Automatically Start JAWS and check the bex that says, "Automatically start JAWS at the logon screen" checkbox. The next time UAC dialog appears, JAWS should speak the controls on the Consent screen. A neat trick: when UAC appears, try pressing Alt plus C. If this does not work, press Alt plus A.
