Tom, I used to like checking the Thesaurus in Office 2000. You can do it the same way in Office 2003. Here is how:
1. Go to Tools menu, Alt+T 2. Go to Customize hitting the letter C 3. Go to the Option Tag 4. Tab to keyboard, (Shift tab three times) and hit enter 5. You are in a list of categories. Arrow down to "Tools" and tab to a list of commands 6. Page down and arrow down until you come to "ToolsThesaurus" 7. Tab once and you will find that there is no short-cut key assigned. It will say "no selected item" 8. Tab once and press the short-cut keys you want to use. I use "Shift+F9" 9. Hit enter on the assign button 10. My changes was saved in "normal.doc" 11. Hit enter on close. Now you will be able to do the Thesaurus like you used to do in Office 2000. You will notice that there is an entry just below "ToolsThesaurus". That is the current command (ToolsThesaurusRR)for Office 2003 which is Shift+F7. HTH, Lennie At 05:54 AM 2/15/2008, you wrote: >Greeting, > >I am using Word2003.
