Hi Roger, You can also purchase a USB keyboard, and use it instead of the laptop keys, but when traveling this would be less convenient, and wouldn't give you the chance to learn the laptop keyboard layout. Hello everyone, Can someone tell me if you need the num pad on a laptop for jaws to work properly? and if not, is there a certain thing i need to look for to be able to plug in a external keyboard? I've never used a laptop before, so i'm not sure how someone would go between the PC, Jaws, and invisible cursor, if there was no num pad. Any thoughts anyone?
