Hello, everyone.
Today, I suddenly have been experiencing two Jaws issues. Any help with either of them would be appreciated. I am using Jaws 17 professional, and Windows 7 here. 1. When I re-boot my computer after a shut-down, Jaws no longer speaks at the log-in screen. I seem to recall that someone else had this issue the other day, but don't recall the solution. I have checked "automatically start Jaws at the log-on screen" in basic Jaws options, and also have told Jaws to always start after the log-on screen for me as the main user. Currently, the only way I can start Jaws is via sighted assistance. And 2. I am using Outlook 2016 to manage both my University and personal g-mail accounts. In both accounts, Jaws is now giving me a very expanded list view in my message folders, rather than the short list view I have been accustomed to. The long message list view gives me many more details than I'd like. The abbreviated list view starts with an unread or read status notification, which is very helpful. I'm not sure how to get the shorter list view back. Currently, the folder pane is set to normal, the reading pain is set to off, and the to do bar is off. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. This is very frustrating, since I don't know what caused these sudden changes in Jaws behavior.
