Hello David: A Mailman list is a well-established software and, as you say, from the Mailman list on the server it is absolutely impossible to do anything but receive and resend or reject an email sent to it; to think otherwise denotes complete ignorance of the workings of a mailing list.
To the aforesaid I wish to add that you and the other moderators run an efficient list, work hard to keep us on topic and using relevant subject lines, something I know generates much work and requires considerate effort, it is something that I for one, appreciate very much. I have benefited, and continue to benefit, from this list. Keep up the good work! Humberto -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Wednesday, March 1, 2017 7:23 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] list memo FYI I have been accused of doing something on the server side of things to mess with a members’ email account. This is not only false but frankly impossible. Never the less this only confirms a saying I came up with many years ago, “if you want somebody to think you’re lying tell them the truth”. We have never engaged in such practices or shared a persons’ email information with anybody. The membership list is only available to the three of us and that is all. Just stating my point for the record gang. Honestly though I have long since stopped caring about what other people say about me as my actions speak for themselves. If you don’t know me by my actions then you aren’t paying attention. Enjoy your collective evenings with your families as I am going to do myself, I believe there is a hockey game on tonight.
