Sorry, I tried this, and this grid is not giving me the colors I am used to
seeing, such as purple, yellow, orange, etc.  I am given "black on black,"
or some times near the righthand part of the grid, "gray on white."

Judy, I don't use this part of Outlook, but I wonder if JAWS key+5 on the
number row above the letters might give you what you need. This is the key
combination for JAWS to identify the foreground and background colors at the
location where you have focus.

I used to be able to do this with Jaws 15.  Our office still uses Outlook
2010.  However, I am now using Jaws 17, and in the calendar, pointing to an
appointment, when I right-click and come to the colors sub-menu, now,
instead of verbally naming the colors, I am presented with a non-voicing
grid.

 

Are there any work-arounds for this?
