Hi 
In my case when I do the ctrl + A and then copy it it does not get the whole
PDF file. It only copies the first page or the page I have up on the screen.

Control A highlights the entire pdf.  Control C and Controlv copy and paste,
respectively.

The above works for me when Adobe, as it does occasionally, skips upward
several lines or several paragraphs.
