I have had OpenBook for around 8 years now and I rarely if ever use it. I purchased the new KNFB reader for Windows at that gong $19.95 price and it will do the same thing with PDFs. That said Judy, there are a number of good free programs out there that will take a PDF and convert it to text, even some web sites where you send them your PDF and they will return it in minutes as a text file.
