Correct. What I keep forgetting is that while you can save an individual 
message in OE as text, you can't save more than one at a time. It's one reason 
I migrated to Outlook, where the other day I saved 1,200 messages to text in 
one operation.

in OE hit ALT-F and A and arrow down to "Save as text file, and hit ENTER.
