I think the problem is that when Jaws crashes like this, the key strokes don't work, or at least not consistently.

It seems to happen occasionally when I am exiting out of a Microsoft Word document. Exiting out of, and then re-starting Jaws does not seem to help, nor does the Windows run command. Very disconcerting, since the only way I seem to be able to get Jaws back is to do a hard shutdown of the computer, followed by a re-boot. Definitely not good.
