If you don't have windows 10 then you are not effected at all.

How's it going to affect those of us who are about to purchase new laptops?
My JAWS is up-to-date, but I am still running Windows 7 on my current laptop
because it doesn't possess enough RAM for Windows 10.

The Windows 10 Creators update is the next major release from Microsoft
scheduled to begin rolling out to Windows 10 users in April 2017. During
the
testing of insider builds for this update, issues were discovered that
impacted ZoomText, JAWS, and MAGic. These issues have been addressed and
updates to these products are now available. It is important that
customers
who are using Windows 10 and getting all its updates, update our software
prior to the installation of the Creators update. Otherwise, you could
experience problems with the login screen as well as reading and
navigating
the Start menu.
Make sure you are updated to the following versions.
