Mike, Are you saying you don't get the concept or you've tried it and it doesn't work? Jim suggests what I often do when I don't like the way JAWS is reading something. I copy the text, in this case of an email, into Notepad. What I do then is copy that Notepad text into MS word. But you could just read it in Notepad. Call it a workaround.
