I think you'll find that those three buttons refer to the fact that you're
working on a speech and sound scheme. My guess is that if you need to go
through this procedure again, you'd want to choose "Modify," unless you plan to
make this a new scheme.

"super script"

Hi Mike,
I followed your instructions. Everything worked good until number 6 on your
list. That should be shift + tab instead of control + tab. Also on that line I
would add after shift + tab then arrow right to the attributes tab then tab 1
time to get to the list of attributes.
The only other thing I was unsure of after I change the radio button to ignore
then tab and I had choices to add, delete, or modify an then there was the ok
button. I was unsure of what to do on those add, modify or delete buttons. I
click on ok then I got other dialog boxes asking me if I wanted to save so I
press apply then ok again on another box. I went and check the email that had
been saying super scripts and now it does not say that. So I hope when I shut
down and boot up tomorrow the change stays. Any way thanks for the help and
info. If you have any suggestions to help me on the last part with those add,
delete, and modify buttons. Should I have click on one of those?
Mr. Ed

Hi Adrian & Mr. Ed,

Try the following:
1. Open the Settings Center, Insert + 6 on the number row, & press, Control,
Shift, + D, to open the Setting Center default all applications. Note: If you
want to stop Jaws from announcing, Super Script, in a particular application
open the Settings Center while in the application without opening the Settings
Center default all applications.
2. Arrow down to, Speech & Sound Schemes, & right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to, Modify Schemes...., & press the spacebar to open. Note:
Do not press enter, pressing enter will close the Settings Center.
4. Tab to, Edit Selected Scheme button, & press the spacebar to open.
5. Control + Tab to the Attributes tab, & Tab 1 time to get into the list of
attributes.
6. Arrow down to, Super Scripts Behavior, Tab 1 time to get into the radio
buttons of options, & arrow up / down to the, Ignore, option.
7. Now tab & you'll have various options as how you want to save this change.
I won't go through the save options because various people will want to choose
how they might want to save their scheme after making a change.

Take care.
Mike

So, to be clear, you use Outlook 2010 both for your bible reading and your
email? How strange, then, that the superscript verbalization was omitted when
you sent a message to the list. I figured you were reading the bible in

a different application. As I tried to explain, in my experience, JAWS doesn't
say "superscript" in Outlook, but it does in Word. Sorry, Ed, I'm really not
trying to give you a hard time, just to understand the problem so

that I or someone else can help.

Hi,
I use Outlook 2010 to read my daily Bible reading. Any ideas on how to stop it
from reading that?
Mr. Ed

Ed, I find that JAWS announces superscript in MS Word but not in my Outlook
email messages. So you may still have the problem. Which application do you use
to read that bible?

Hi Again,

Below is a sentence that Jaws announces super script on the April 24 date
below. This is what I am wanting to be able to stop Jaws from announcing in my
Bible reading.

So if you know how I can stop Jaws from announcing this please let me know.
