Ello Justin,

The steps are for Word 2013, which is the version Jerry mentioned. However,
they should be pretty much the same in Word 2010 and Word 2016.

Take care.

Hello Jerry,

To remove a table in its entirety:

1. first move focus into a table cell.
2. Press the JAWS pass through key of JAWS key with 3 on the numbers row.
3. With numlock off (as it is when using JAWS) hold down Alt key and press
number 5 on the numpad.
4. Press the application key and use down arrow to the Delete table item.
5. Press enter on the Delete Table item.

To remove all text in a table but leave the table structure intact:

1. Move the keyboard cursor into a table cell.
2. use the JAWS pass through keystroke of JAWS key with the number 3 on the
numbers row.
3. With numlock off press Alt key with the number 5 on the Numpad to select
all text in the table.
4. Press the Delete key.

To convert the table to text:

1. Move focus into a table cell.
2. Press Alt key to move to the top part of the ribbon.
3. Use right arrow key across the top part of the ribbon until you get to the
Layout tab in the Table Group.
4. Use tab key to move to the lower part of the ribbon.
5. Hold down CTRL and use right arrow key six times to move into the Data
group.
6. Use tab key until you get to the Convert Table to Text item and press
spacebar.
7. In the resulting dialog you can choose what will separate the cells of
content when the table structure is removed. If you leave the default then
when conversion is done a tab stop will separate the text that were
previously in table cells.
8. After Choosing the separator use tab key to the OK button and press
spacebar.

Take care.
