Oh I think I get what you are saying.
When I press the print screen it goes to the clipboard, but if I copy
something else it is covered up with the new one? Is that right? Lol
I'm slapping myself, and the light just came on.

Patti,

Here's what I find out courtesy of Google. Actually, Jorge gave you all the
clues.

Online post: When you press the Print Screen key, the screen- shot is copied
to your Windows Clipboard. Each successive capture replaces the last. If you
wish to save these screenshots they must be pasted into a program that can
save them, Windows Paint for example.

Back to me. So, it seems you've accidentally set up your system to save
"print screen" pictures to your Paint folder. You can access that folder as
follows:

Press the Windows key
Arrow up once to "all programs"
Right arrow once
Up arrow once
Press a the letter repeatedly until you hear "Accessories"
Press right arrow once
Press p for Paint.
Press enter.

On my system, I can open the ribbon with the alt key. Beyond that, I can't
help because I don't have any pictures saved there.

Ok let me clarify what I'm looking for, smiles.
My print screen is where the application key is, and I press it by accident.
So my question is where on the computer do the print screen goes, so I can
delete them? I know by now there is about 1000 of them, lol.

Patti,

In your original message that started this thread, you wrote: "My print
screen key is where the application key should be on this Lenovo keyboard."
In that case, you know where your print screen key is but not where your
applications key is. An alternative to the applications key is shift-F10,
which brings up roughly the same menu of options.

No this didn't work for me.
Is there any other way to find out where the print screen is?
Patti

Hi,
Press the windows key and on the edit box type paint can enter.
I'm not sure on either the tab key or the up and down arrow follow the
prompts, when you enter the paint can, there is going to be an untitle doc,
press enter to open it You have to save it and rename it, and attached it to
an email, by copy, cut & paste.
The last time I tried it didn't worked, because it had links in it.

Maybe you can make this work if needed in an emergency, Screen Shot in the
iPhone:
you press the home button and the Power button together at the same time
down , until you hear the snap of the camera and release quickly, The
picture of that screen shot went to your camera roll. Then you opened that
picture in your camera roll, there is an option to "share" that picture
(which is the screen shot, there is option to assign the photo to wall
paper, send the photo in a message, etc.
HTH,

                                        Jorge

Hey Gang,

My print screen key is where the application key should be on this Lenovo
keyboard, so I keep on hitting it.

My question is where do I go to delete all the pictures of the screen I
took, or does it matter?

I have a Toshiba laptop running windows 10, and Jaws 18.

Thanks for any help.

Patti
