When on the Winamp main window, control+tab to the equalizer pane, then press the letter N for Nancy. This will turn audio enhancement to on. The sound should increase then.

If you control+tab and don't seem to land on the equalizer, then Winamp is not set to display the equalizer pane, so press alt+G to display it, then try the steps above and see if that helps.

If it doesn't seem to help, press the tilde symbol key above the tab key to see if that raises the pre-amp level.

If that still does not help, press the numbers one through ten on the number row above your letters until you get to +20, or as close to that as you can. Unfortunately, Jaws has a bug where it will hit +18 or +19, and circle around again to the negatives again.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem With Winamp

I have a friend who is finding that the volume in Winamp is very low.
The upper arrow control to increase volume doesn't do the trick.

She has looked at her sound volume and it is where it should be. Any
ideas? Thanks.
