Hi As was said, the demo version of JAWS is the same code as a production copy. But since the demo version is running in 40 minute mode, if changes are not saved before the time runs out, it's possible that JAWS does not save anything after the time has run out. So make the changes and then restart JAWS before the time runs out to make sure they have been saved.

As far as I know, a demo version is a fully functioning version of Jaws, the only limit is the forty minute mode, but other than that, you should be able to change the settings, save those changes and the like and continue using it in forty minute mode until you get the unlock code.
