Here's the best cross fading plug-in I've used for doing exactly what
you want Betty:
SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading 1.7

It is 100% accessible to JAWS too. Just install it and then enable it
in Winamp's Output plug-ins listbox in Options.
Works very well I must say.
