Hi Mr. Ed, Well, I don't know what else to tell you. I've had my wife verify the colors & what USB ports I identify by feel, & the ports feel different. Let me make sure we're understanding each other. Stick the end of your finger into the opening of a USB port. With a 3.0 USB port the end of your finger will just barely go into the opening of the port, & I do mean just barely. Hi Mike, On my wife's Dell laptop does not have any color usb but does have a 3.0 port. My wife says she can see know different visually from the 3.0 and the 2.0.
