Thanks, Justin. I wonder if this is for a version of Word later than 2010. I just tried this method with 2010. It doesn't work at all when I press F6 just once. When I press it twice, I get word count and page number, but not line number. A third press of F6 doesn't add anything. Which version of Word are you using?

I hadn't realized this was what you were seeking. I can see how this would drive you nuts. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike B. Control, Shift, + G, gives me the line number along with a lot more. No matter what I do I can't get the status line to read the page number. Thanks again. Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers! As for the status line not reading a line number, I occasionally experience this when either Outlook 2010 or JAWS gets tired or when I have more than one document open. A reboot overcomes the exhaustion factor, while giving a name to a new document fixes the other cause. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike B. Would someone please tell me the keystroke that gives word count & line number? I'm reading the status line, but I'm not getting a line number. I've tried changing schemes with no luck. Thanks much.
