Dennis,
My apologies. I made an assumption that Firefox has options similar to those in
IE, but I see I was wrong. The answer must lie in Firefox itself, where the
term of art seems to be 'autofill." In case it helps lead you to a solution,
here's the Google results page I just created:
https://www.google.com/search?site=&source=hp&q=how+do+i+disable+autofill+in+firefox+53+search+field%3F&oq=how+do+i+disable+autofill+in+firefox+53+search+field%3F&gs_l=hp.3...2488.19976.0.20836.53.53.0.0.0.0.410.5983.24j28j4-1.53.0....0...1.1.64.hp..0.48.5559...0j0i131k1j0i3k1j0i22i30k1j33i160k1j33i21k1.M3MCFJLlJlo

Check the autocomplete options in the quick settings (JAWS key+v) with Firefox
open.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Firefox help needed please

Hi, how do I prevent Jaws or any screen reader from saying something like
m.yahoo when I start to type an address into the address bar? I also want to
prevent it from showing a list of possible sites that it could be in a list as
I type. I would love to get rid of all search engines but I don't see how this
is possible I looked under search. I'm using latest Firefox any help is
appreciated.
