Hey. You can now search for a programme or files merely by hitting the windows key and starting to type in the name of what you are looking for. Windows will attempt to autocomplete it for you. Just keep typing until you get the one you want, or use down arrow to find the next nearest match. Sometimes the Windows key will open Cortana instead. I haven't really discovered the pattern behind this, but anyway, if that happens, just hit esc and try again. Once you find what you want, if you want a desktop shortcut, you can use the "send to" item in the context menu to create one.
