I saw a message on another list that the jaws curser doesn't work in
windows10 and that the command prompt doesn't read when under admin in
windows10.

Mike,

I think one of the best commands for new users to remember and use, is the
Key Describer: INSERT + 1 on the number row. This Toggles the keyboard help
on /off which means you can hear what JAWS would do in any given
application, for any key combo you push. So to get a good feel for the
Numeric Keypad, put the Keyboard Help on, and then press the various keys.
Then push them again, while holding the Insert Key (which is the Zero key of
course) down at the same time.

The other great feature to learn/find more advanced features and the
keystrokes needed, is the JAWS Command Search. Press Insert + Space, J in
order to get into the command search. It's like a google search for JAWS
features. For instance, while in the command search, type "OCR" or type
"Reading". Look at the results. You'll find this very helpful in the future.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Say All

Hi all. Could somebody please tell me what the keystroke is to invoke the
say all command? I've been poking around trying different jaws key
combinations after listening to yesterday's Main Menu podcast but I didn't
come up with the correct keystroke. To be fair, I'm a new Jaws user, having
transitioned from Window-eyes. On occasion, I try Window-eyes keystrokes
(unintentionally, I might add), only to realize that I'm now using Jaws.
Old habits die hard, smile. Thanks.
