Hi, Jared.

I wasn't able to get the MP3 file, either, but I'm wondering about your
terminology. First, when in Firefox, I use the JAWS simulation of a mouse
right-click, which is the numpad * button on the numpad's top row, just to the
left of the JAWS cursor key. I find that in Firefox, it gives me more options
than the applications menu.

Second, when wishing to save an MP3 or other file, I look for "Save target
as..." It seems to me that you got the correct item when you clicked on "Save
the link as..." That is, you were able to save the link.

However, I found no "Save target as" option in this right-click menu, which
implies that saving the MP3 file is no longer an option on this website. So I'm
wondering if the website has changed since you last used it with WindowEyes.

Note that the heading you list isn't on the page, but I eventually found one
that sort of resembles it, and there was an MP3 link under it. This was the
link I tested.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] firefox, RSS feeds and saving files

Hi all,

I have never had this problem with Window-Eyes, but I have this problem with
Jaws, and it baffles me. I'm running the latest Jaws, the latest firefox, and
can duplicate this 100 percent of the time. Steps follow:

1. Go to http://feeds.twit.tv/sn
2. Go to the Security Now 614's latest entry. Do this by hitting h
for heading until you get there.
3. Underneath the show notes, you'll find a link to the mp3.
4. Hit shift+f10 or context key and select save link as.
5. You should get something similar to saving an mp3 file, but I get saving an
HTML file, subscribing to the RSS feed through something, but not the mp3 file.

The only way i was able to get the mp3 file was to tab to it then it wold let
me get the file. Window-Eyes never behaved this way, and I'm wondering if I
have found a bug with Jaws that needs reporting? Thanks, gang.
