Patti, for years now, I've been in the habit of pressing control-home when I open an email message. This does two things. First, it momentarily shuts JAWS up. It also places focus at the top of the message field and JAWS starts speaking from there. An extra keystroke, but it's such a habit that I don't think about it anymore.

Every time I open up an email it starts reading in the middle, or sometimes at the bottom. How do I get it to read at the top? I'm using windows10, jaws18, MS2010, and outlook, on a 32 bit computer.
