This is happening to me also, to a degree that is becoming much less acceptable.
And, it is the reason that I am seriously considering dropping Firefox, and moving to Chrome as my main internet browser. Obviously, the latest versions of Firefox are becoming less and less stable, which to me represents a significant backward step. I just don't have the desire or inclination to deal with these sorts of issues, which seem to relate to software design flaws more than anything else.
