Jim,

To stop Firefox from excessively saying "Clickable", try the following:

Open a window in FireFox.
Open "Settings Center" by doing insert key plus 6.
under the"Web / HTML / PDFs"category, there is a subcategory labeled
"Miscellaneous"
Under"Miscellaneous"there is a setting labeled
"Indicate Element Attribute"
Unchecking this setting will stop Jaws from saying clickable.

Pam

Subject: [JAWS-Users] A wrinkle on my "clickable" question yesterday

It's Firefox, not JAWS, that seems to find a clickable element at the
end of many sentences and at various parts of a web page. So I hit enter
and all of the other mouse click permutations I know and I do not get
carried to a new place. A clickable dud.

I did an experiment. I ran across a web page in FF that liberally
spread clickable around. I copied the link to thepage andpasted it into
Ie11. Nada. Blessed silence save the text.

Any Firefoxers out there who can guide me to reining in he clickables on FF?

Tks.
