Hello Scott, The Wordweb free dictionary works well with JAWS. There are several page tabs in the program that give more than just the meaning of words. One of those page tabs will cause your PC to connect to the Wikipedia encyclopedia site, and an article pertinent to the word you are looking up will be shown. You can download the file from the link below. I will remove the file after a couple of days, but you can always go to www.wordweb.com and get the free dictionary there. Here is the link to the file on SendSpace:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/z6hi4x Also, www.onelook.com is a very good web site for getting meanings of words from various dictionaries and encyclopedias. If you look up a word on that site, you will get lists of many different dictionaries and encyclopedias. Specialized dictionaries for medical terms, legal terms, scientific terms, etc. are shown, as well as many of the various standard dictionaries. You will also get articles from Wikipedia, Encarta and other encyclopedias. Take care.
