OK! I uninstalled Word 7 and reinstalled it and the spell checker seems to
be working properly without crashing the program. I guess I will take the
WordPad problem to Microsoft. Tom

Another problem in addition to the Word spell checker. WordPad has quit
working. When I try to open WordPad I get the message “unable to open new
document” this happen if I try to open for a new document or open an
existing RTF document. What in the world is going on? Tom
